Smart Abutment
Denflex is opening the future with innovative technology
Excellent occlusal force buffering function
SMART ABUTMENT
It can be used as it is on the existing fixture and it is a new concept of abutment that applies an elastic fastening method to attach a prosthesis.
What is abutment?
Abutment is a part that is connected with a screw to the part that is placed in the alveolar bone and refers to the part where the crown is installed.
Problems of existing products
Existing abutments have a simple structure and weak prosthesis retention, and the insertion angle between the fixtures exceeds 13°. When connecting with a bridge, the abutment needs to be removed. In this case, it may cause gum disease, and if the adhesive is separated over time, the prosthesis may be removed. Various problems may occur due to the lack of occlusal force buffering function.
Advantages of Denflex Smart Abutment
Fastening of prostheses that do not require adhesives
No risk of periodontal disease from adhesives:
Unlike conventional abutments, smart abutments are neat because there are no holes in the occlusal surface of the prosthesis.
In addition, since there is no need for adhesives in the process of tightening artificial teeth, the procedure is quick and there is no fear of causing periodontal disease due to excess adhesive.
Existing Abutment
Smart abutment
Excellent fixture placement angle
No need to remove the abutment below 30 degrees
If the insertion angle between fixtures is within 30°, it is possible to make and set the prosthesis without removing the abutment, and it has the advantage of securing sufficient prosthesis retention.
Existing Abutment (Need to be deleted to secure the pathway)
Smart Abutment (30ºangle of acceptance between fixtures)
Occlusal force buffering function
Similar to natural teeth, occlusal force buffering function
Smart Abutment has a function of buffering occlusal force close to natural teeth, which alleviates problems such as fracture of screws, fixtures, abutments, etc.
Existing Abutment
Smart abutment
Effect of reducing the number of fixture placement
Because it has excellent occlusal force buffering function, it is possible to reduce the number of fixture installations compared to using existing products. It can reduce the financial burden of patients receiving prosthetic treatment.
